A semi-evergreen perennial shrub that has spectacular variegated green, light green and pale yellow maple leaf foliage, with salmon colored flowers and magenta veins. Grows to 3.5 feet with a spread of 3.5 feet and is long blooming. Plant in part sun to part shade. Works great in containers, and attracts bees and hummingbirds. Also works great as a houseplant, apparently Abutilon was very popular in the 19th century, known as Parlor Maples. Hardy in zones 8b-12. These plants are growing in 3.5-inch, deep pots.
