Baby Sun Rose, or Hearts and Flowers is a succulent, mat-forming, evergreen, perennial groundcover for hot, dry, sunny areas that forms solid flat mats with stems reaching up to 2 feet long bearing bright green nearly heart-shaped leaves that are 3/4 to 1 inch long and covered in very fine bumps. Its bright pink to red flowers, open only during the day, are dime sized and add a pop of color. These are great for suppressing weeds as they form a dense mat. This easy-care plant is also a great option for containers, hanging baskets and even a great succulent houseplant as it was named "The January 2024 Houseplant of the Month" by the Laidback Gardener. Hardy in zones 8b-11. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots.
