Hibiscus syriacus, or Althea, Blushing Bride Rose of Sharon is a showy specimen for the landscape. In the summer you will enjoy the light, or blush, pink double flowers with a magenta center, set against the jaggered green leaves. This is a knockout centerpiece in the yard, an eye-catching hedge row, or privacy screen. It can also be grown in containers to provide beauty to your patio or balcony. This deciduous shrub has a moderate growth rate, and at maturity will reach up to 10 feet high and 6 feet wide. Plant in full to part sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zones 5-9. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots.
