Also called Nodding Violet, this plant has a rounded mounding habit, at maturity it can reach up to 12 inches with a spread of 14 inches wide. Bloom time is spring through fall. An excellent choice for a house plant because of its purported ability to bloom all year in that environment. Give it a bright spot with no direct sun, let the soil dry before watering, and enjoy. Also lovely in a hanging basket outside, as it can cascade with blooms galore, or plant in that part to full shade spot in your garden, in well-drained soil. Hardy in zones 9-11, so it likes warmer temperatures - 65 degrees at least.
