King's Crown or Hummingbird plant is an evergreen perennial subshrub, hummingbird magnet that grows up to 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide. This densely branching specimen has velvety grayish green leaves and from late spring through early fall it will dazzle with its clumps of orange tubular flowers. Great for landscape borders, ornamentals, hanging baskets, or even in containers for your porch or balcony. Plant in full sun to light shade, in moist, well drained soil. Hardy in zones 8b-11. These plants are growing in 3.25-inch pots.
