Mentha longifolia 'Habak' or Bible Mint, also called wild mint or horse mint. This fragrant plant is edible and good for drying. This is a vigorous, creeping perennial with gray-hairy stems and oblong-elliptic, toothed, strongly aromatic, musty scented, green to silver-gray leaves, 2 1/2 - 3 1/2" long, with unbranched hairs. produces terminal spikes of tubular, fragrant lilac-pink flowers, 1/4" long, in dense whorls. Great for containers and also rock gardens. Plaant in full sun and keep soil consistently moist. Attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.
