Also called Sad Tree, Tree-of Sorrow, and Parijat. The small, but sweetly fragrant white, 1-2-inch flowers are 5 to 8 lobed, star-like flowers with an orange-red tube in the center. Night Flowering Jasmine blooms profusely spring through fall, opening at night and casting off in the morning leaving a beautiful carpet of flowers on the ground around it. This plant is a very fast grower and will reach 5 feet high and 4 feet across. Use well-drained soil and fertilize once a month. Plant in full to part sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zone 10, but, in cooler climates can be grown in containers to be brought into a bright, sunny spot. Makes a great specimen on a sunny porch or balcony where you'll enjoy the beautiful fragrance. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots.
