This showstopper, the Red Bleeding Heart vine is somewhat of a slower growing vine that grows 10-15 feet, but does not dissapoint! Exotic clusters of red blossoms arrive in late spring and stay on the plant for up to 6 weeks and then return in early fall and stay until frost, as the flowers fade, they turn to a rich mauve color that is also gorgeous. The Red Bleeding Heart vine thrives in dappled sun, part sun, or bright shade. Clerodendrum thomsoniae needs to be attached to a structure to help it vine upwards. This plant also makes a good indoor plant if kept pruned. Zones 9 to 11. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots.
