Red Shield Hibiscus acetosella Pint Plant

Pint plant 10-12 inches tall of this wonderfully unusual Hibiscus Red Shield that has shiny, maple shaped leaves in dark, deep purple. Blooms are dark red and seem to blend in among the foliage. This tender perennial sub-shrub, native to tropical East Africa, is hardy only to zone 8 or 9, but is easily grown as an annual in colder climates. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots and are currently 12-14 inches tall.
