Polygala x dalmaisiana, or commonly called Sweet Pea Bush or Milkwort, is fast-growing with a loose, leggy, soft flow in the breeze look. This bushy evergreen shrub has a rounded to spreading growth habit, and grows 3-5 feet tall and wide. Small, purple/white Sweet Pea-like flowers bloom summer to frost, but can bloom all year in temperatures above 40°F. This beautiful shurb is reportedly a hybrid between two South African species (P. opposistifolia and P. myrtifolia). This is great for grouping or massing for ornamental focal points, in shrub borders, hedge rows, rock gardens, cottage gardens, courtyard gardens, patio containers, and works well for cut flowers for arrangements. Hardy in zones 9-11. These are growing in 3.5-inch pots.
